MDS, the official representative of the German IBT GmbH in Ukraine and owner of the YASLA trademark, has taken the initiative to erect a futuristic silo monument on Independence Square in Dnipro, the site of the Lenin monument.
Силос як інженерний символ
YASLA Silo is a modern structure used in feed storage systems. In real-world production, it is part of complex solutions that include automated feeding, sensors, programmable controllers, and other elements. However, the monument itself is not a functional object—it is meant to symbolize a technological approach, engineering culture, and respect for the labor that is fundamental to agricultural production.
“We want an object in the centre of Dnipro that speaks of modernity. A silo is not just about storing feed. It is about consistency, precision and technologies that work for the result.”, — says the MDS administration.
From idea to implementation
The company already has the technical base, design documentation and production facilities to manufacture the structure. The next step will be to develop a visual concept for the monument – as an engineering sculpture that combines a functional form with the aesthetics of urban space.
YASLA sees this project not only as a brand solution, but also as a cultural initiative – a way to rethink the urban environment through the lens of modern engineering.
